I love both Skyrim and F:NV, but I think that F:NV is the better game. I definitely suggest playing with this mode enabled. As opposed to Skyrim’s “go anywhere you want we’ll just make everything the same level as you lol” approach.Īlso, F:NV has some really great macro systems such as “hardcore” mode where you have to find food and water. Question: How much of a step “backwards” will Fallout:NV feel after playing Skyrim? In terms of interface, graphics, game mechanics, etc.? Also, is the Fallout:NV world “less open” and significantly smaller than Skyrim? Again, I will be playing on the 360 so mods are not relevant.įallout: NV will look slightly worse than Skyrim, and it’s slightly more linear in respect to the fact that enemies don’t scale nearly as much as they do in Skyrim so some areas will be far too dangerous to go into. (I did play Fallout3 on the PC - I’m playing Skyrim and would play Fallout:NV on the 360.)
I never played Fallout:NV but I think I’d like to try it after Skyrim. I’m still playing Skyrim after hundreds of hours, still finding things I missed in previous explorations, and still love it, warts and all.
